The NMAHP Research Unit contributed to two RAE submissions, according to the distribution of staff across our two host universities.  At the University of Stirling, Unit staff were included in the submission to the Nursing and Midwifery Unit of Assessment, UoA 11.  This submission was top in Scotland and 9th in the UK.  At GCU,  Unit staff were entered into UoA12, Allied Health Professions and Studies, with the Health QWest submission.  This submission was also top in Scotland and 10th in the UK.  Panel comments on both submissions highlighted the contribution made by the research environment.
